We have a new permanent job opportunity available for a Project Manager, based in Chelmsford, offering a salary of £35,000 to £40,000.

You will be working for a company established in 2006, who are a leading manufacturer and supplier of retail displays and furniture. They have successfully grown over the years through commitment and attention to detail to support retail environments. They offer foil blocking to laser cutting, and they can even chrome and glitter spray almost anything their clients require.

As the project Manager you will report into the Head of Project Managers and the Operations Manager. Your duties will include establishing and maintaining excellent communication and working relationships with internal teams and external customers. You will receive briefs from the Accounts Managers and manage the project through to completion. This will involve liaising with Accounts Managers, the production department and design department for the desired project outcome. You will also arrange for orders to be put on Sage 50, source materials, negotiate best prices and schedule deliveries with the logistics team for your client. You will be responsible for completing job sheets with the relevant information to enable the production team to complete the project on time. This role will involve managing the day-to-day operational aspect of projects, resolving queries and any potential problems. You will also manage project budgets with a willingness to take on project ownership and accountability. This is a busy and varied role that requires a highly organised person who has a good knowledge of Sage 50 and Excel with strong communication skills to work with the internal sales team and external customers daily either on the telephone or face to face. This is a fast-paced role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. You will need a willingness to take on numerous projects with various needs and meet the deadlines set by their clients.

To be considered for the POS Estimator you will need…

To be a car or motorbike driver, due to their remote location with no public transport links.

Excellent knowledge of POS (retail point of sale) / POP (retail point of purchase).

Good knowledge of acrylic, woods, metals and other materials etc.

Excellent Knowledge of plastic fabrication techniques and woodworking.

Good knowledge of Sage 50, Word and Excel.

Strong written english, numeracy and organisational skills.

Strong analytical skills

Good team player with a ‘can do’ attitude.
